Foster babies

After a long dry spell, I'm going to try and be a little more active with this blog.  While the doll blog is more fun to photograph, raising baby animals for fostering is more rewarding in the long run.  Now...that being said, I've only fostered once.  That first time was a young cat named Lucy who needed a safe place to stay while she recovered from a spay.  I was able to give her up with ease, though she was a very sweet cat.  Now my babies are these two.  Molly is on the left, Ellie is in the middle, and my toad face is on the right.

Ten-week-old littermates, they look exactly alike, though Molly has a tiny, almost imperceptible kink in her tail.  Again, Molly is the one on the left here.
Despite looking just alike, their personalities are polar opposites.  In this picture Molly has chose to climb my knee (ouchie)...
...while Ellie...Ellie chose to wonk out on my chest.
Molly is adventurous and curious, while Ellie is shy and loves to snuggle.  They also love to play together and sleep together.

Molly and Ellie have been here since last Thursday, and they'll be leaving tomorrow afternoon to go with a family friend.  Said friend will soon be retiring from a teaching job, and she has a problem with mice, so we're all hoping that she'll have two little mousers and two little companions all in one.  Either way these two will have a fine home to go to!

Cheers,
